What you will do

• Serve as the site subject matter expert for extrusion, managing daily manufacturing performance and long-term stability.
• Define and execute a long-term strategy for equipment, tooling, materials, and process controls.
• Lead process validations and revalidations (IQ/OQ/PQ) to support sustaining operations and capacity expansion.
• Provide direct shop-floor support to resolve complex extrusion issues related to materials and parameters.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, scrap reduction, and OEE optimization.
• Perform deep technical root cause analysis to support quality investigations and CAPAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, Master's with 2+ years, or a PhD.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with medical-grade polymer extrusion, specifically multi-lumen or tight-tolerance tubing.
• Background in regulated environments such as FDA, ISO 13485, or GMP.
• Proficiency with SPC, DOE, and data-driven process optimization.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
