Salary: $101,000 – $162,000

What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies aligned with product vision and business goals.
• Analyze source code to identify gaps in test coverage and champion the adoption of automation tools.
• Drive the establishment and optimization of robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and best practices.
• Lead engineering excellence initiatives, including technical debt reduction and innovation.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe software development or related systems testing.
• Experience with mainframe storage products such as CA 1, Vtape, DASD, or DFSMS.
• Proficiency in z/OS (including USS and SMP/E), Linux, and VMWare environments.
• Strong knowledge of QA automation tools and CI/CD methodologies.
• Ability to work in a self-directed Agile team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Cloud storage solutions.
• Experience with containerization tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Swarm.
• Proficiency in additional mainframe or open systems languages.
