What you will do

  • Design, develop, and test full-stack components using React, Node.js, Java, and TypeScript.
  • Lead technical direction on client projects and ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote software engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with BAs, QAs, and client teams to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing within the engineering department.
  • Advocate for code reviews, paired programming, and automated testing.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK or Bulgaria
  • Commercial experience with React, Node.js, Java, and TypeScript.
  • Experience deploying and hosting applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proven ability to lead technical direction and mentor team members.
  • Strong advocacy for best practices including automated testing and code reviews.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with K8s, Docker, Terraform, or monitoring tools like Grafana/Splunk.
