TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Reporting): Building and optimizing high-load reporting and analytics services for a customer engagement platform with an accent on big data processing and query performance. Focus on developing scalable backend architectures and creating intuitive, high-performance frontend interfaces to handle billions of data points.

Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada (Hybrid role).

Salary: CA$153,815 - CA$250,039/year (Base), OTE: CA$172,000 - CA$279,600/year.

What you will do

  • Develop and optimize sophisticated real-time and batch data processing systems for analytics.
  • Leverage large, complex datasets to generate actionable customer reports and insights.
  • Optimize query performance and infrastructure costs for massive-scale applications.
  • Build high-performance frontend interfaces to ensure an incredible user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and scale distributed microservices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Proven experience as a technical leader in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

  • Professional experience building software at scale.
  • Experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Java, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
