What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain internal integrations, tools, and solutions to streamline operations across the technical stack.
• Build and manage secure APIs and webhooks to facilitate efficient data transfer between systems.
• Collaborate with business partners to leverage AI and technology to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Take full ownership of the software lifecycle, including scoping, building, testing, and deploying features.
• Mentor other developers through code reviews and advocate for high-quality, maintainable code.
• Drive and communicate high-level architecture decisions for internal business systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience building RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and integrating with third-party services.
• Proficiency in Ruby/Ruby on Rails or other Object-Oriented Programming languages.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Next.
• Knowledge of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and CSS preprocessors.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, clean code, and the value of automated testing.
• Must be based in Canada (Ottawa, Toronto, or Calgary)
