What you will do
- Develop and execute the merchant acquisition strategy for the UAE region.
- Identify and acquire high-potential businesses across luxury retail, real estate, automotive, and other high-ticket segments.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed agreement and successful onboarding.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless merchant launches.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified merchant opportunities and report forecasts to leadership.
- Represent GoBTC Pay at business events and networking opportunities to accelerate growth.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Merchant Acquisition.
- Proven track record of closing new business and strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, banking, or crypto products.
- Existing business network within the UAE.
- Fluent English.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to have
- Experience working with enterprise customers.
- Knowledge of payment processing, acquiring, or merchant services.
- Prior experience in the crypto or digital assets sector.
