Technical Architect Lead (AI): Owning the technical vision for the Fixed Assets product line and leading an engineering team to build high-performance, computation-heavy solutions with an accent on AI-native development and cloud-native modernization. Focus on driving architectural strategy, mentoring high-performing engineers, and integrating generative AI tools to accelerate the software development lifecycle.
Location: Must be based in Arlington, VA
Salary: $152,000–$185,000

What you will do
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance on design patterns, trade-offs, and implementation strategies.
- Set end-to-end technical direction, including technology choices and infrastructure strategy.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
- Lead the modernization of legacy applications into a cloud-native AWS environment.
- Integrate AI-assisted development practices and automation into engineering workflows.
- Partner with product and engineering leadership to align technical delivery with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Hands-on experience managing and developing high-performing engineering teams.
- Proficiency with C#/.NET and building distributed, scalable systems.
- Full-stack expertise including React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Strong background in AWS, API design, and modern architectural patterns like microservices and event-driven systems.
- Proven experience as an evangelist for AI-native software development.
