What you will do

• Track and integrate upstream Linux Kernel developments and features into EOS.
• Develop and maintain kernel features and automated tests using C, C++, and Python.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and vendors to qualify CPUs and NICs for integration.
• Contribute new features and fixes back to the mainline Linux kernel community.
• Provide technical leadership for projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Analyze and resolve complex kernel-level problems for customers and system tests.

Requirements

• Degree in CS/EE/CE with 1-3+ years of experience depending on the level of degree.
• Expert knowledge of C programming is required.
• Significant experience troubleshooting and developing features in the Linux kernel.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel architecture and the upstream patching process.
• Understanding of IP networking architecture and modern software engineering principles.
• Must be based in or able to work from Nashua, NH, USA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with x86 and ARM CPU architectures.
