What you will do

• Develop initial vehicle layout proposals and architectural criteria for advanced design teams.
• Lead engineering and packaging studies for next-generation vehicle architectures.
• Integrate regional and global requirements into design models and VR/MR mockups.
• Resolve packaging issues such as interferences and space violations through alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Performance and SMT Engineers.
• Present engineering studies and design strategies to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in vehicle architecture, attribute, or surface integration.
• Extensive CAD capability using NX.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional leadership and work independently.
• Must be able to work on-site at the Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai.

Nice to have

• Understanding of GVDP process deliverables.
• Expertise in design requirement balancing including driver accommodation and interior spaciness.
• Experience with Pro-Dim and General Arrangement drawings.
• Knowledge of the global and local competitive vehicle landscape.
