Lead Software Engineer (C++/IC Physical Design): Developing the Innovus Implementation System and software for placement and routing with an accent on C/C++ development, physical design algorithms, and Linux systems. Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan

What you will do
- Develop the Innovus Implementation System as part of an R&D engineering team.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for placement and routing.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, and physical design concepts to implementation tools.
- Collaborate with product engineers and technical sales to provide engineering solutions and customer workarounds.
- Work with a global R&D team to help customers succeed.
Requirements
- Strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Professional C/C++ software development experience in a Linux environment.
- Strong understanding and extensive practical use of data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work with customers.
- MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of physical design algorithms and IC physical design tools.
- Prior R&D experience with IC physical design tools and physical design flows.
- Experience with Tcl or other scripting languages.
- Ph.D. studies in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
