What you will do

• Assess purchasing requirements to determine scheduling, volumes, and preferred suppliers.
• Evaluate proposals and select sourcing channels based on quality and lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Place Purchase Orders, monitor delivery status, and oversee shipping and receiving.
• Manage and resolve supplier, financial, warehousing, and customer-related queries.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to strategically manage critical inventory and mitigate risks.
• Maintain ERP systems and build strong relationships with key vendors to secure priority access to inventory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent.
• 7 years of experience in an electronic manufacturing procurement environment.
• Proficiency in MS-Office, ERP, and MRP systems.
• Deep understanding of Commercial Law, Export/Import regulations, and INCOTERMS.
• Ability to independently perform market analysis, negotiations, and risk assessments.
• Preference for South African citizenship.
