What you will do
- Lead the development and deployment of next-generation photolithography technologies for slider manufacturing.
- Own technical evaluation, installation, and qualification of new lithography platforms and automation solutions.
- Develop and optimize lithography processes to improve resolution, overlay accuracy, and CD control.
- Define and execute engineering experiments, DOE plans, and process characterization studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, metrology, and equipment engineering to ensure technology introduction.
- Drive technology benchmarking across semiconductor and MEMS industries to identify breakthrough opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs, Masterβs, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or Nanotechnology.
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in photolithography, semiconductor process development, or MEMS fabrication.
- Strong understanding of photolithography fundamentals including photoresist chemistry, optics, and alignment.
- Proven experience with stepper/track systems, pattern transfer, and plasma etching.
- Strong statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a research-oriented environment with a strong execution focus.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0, AI/ML, and digital factory concepts.
- Experience working with equipment suppliers and external research organizations.
