What you will do

• Support the design and layout of a control room environment including workstations and screen configurations.
• Assist in the selection and evaluation of hardware such as displays, furniture, and cabling concepts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across IT, engineering, and facilities departments.
• Create structured concepts, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Support systems engineering activities including system breakdown and requirement structuring.
• Contribute to ground systems development tasks including basic software, scripting, or integration support.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong structured and analytical thinking skills.
• Interest in practical, hands-on system design and hardware-software integration.
• Fluent in English.
• Proactive, independent, and comfortable working on open-ended tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD or layout tools like SolidWorks, Fusion, AutoCAD, or Visio.
• Basic programming or scripting skills in Python or similar.
• Exposure to systems engineering methods or frameworks.
• Interest in ergonomics and human-machine interaction.
• Experience with lab work or hardware projects.
