What you will do

• Apply Systems Engineering methods and create structured technical documentation.
• Perform safety analyses using FMEA and FMEDA methodologies.
• Ensure system compliance with functional safety standards, specifically IEC 61508.
• Work on environmental and mechanical testing requirements and certification processes.
• Support the implementation of regulatory compliance frameworks in hardware development.
• Collaborate within small, agile, and interdisciplinary tech teams.

Requirements

• Currently studying Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering methods and structured documentation.
• Strong interest or experience in Safety Analysis (FMEA, FMEDA) and Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508).
• Knowledge of environmental/mechanical testing and certification processes.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks for hardware development.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Munich, Germany
