• Define and uphold high standards for measurement rigor to inform deployment and scaling decisions.

• Develop scalable analysis frameworks supporting multiple climate types across various territories.

• Collaborate with product and engineering leads to influence roadmaps and unlock deployment milestones.

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
• PhD with 8+ years of industry experience or 12+ years of industry experience in data science.
• Expertise in building models for spatio-temporal data.
• Proven experience as a technical lead in cross-functional environments.
• Advanced statistical expertise and familiarity with machine learning systems.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.

Nice to have

• PhD in a weather-adjacent field like Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, or Hydrology.
• Experience integrating third-party weather data sources.
• Track record of independently driving data science projects to deliver business value.
