TL;DR
Senior Analytics Engineer (Python/SQL/AI): Building and evolving data foundations for the Partners business within a data mesh architecture with an accent on semantic layer modeling and AI-powered capabilities. Location: Remote in Brazil. Hybrid options may be discussed.

What you will do
- Design and maintain high-quality data pipelines and models within a data mesh architecture.
- Develop AI-powered capabilities, including data/AI agents and natural-language interfaces, to amplify team productivity.
- Model and enrich the BI semantic layer using Looker/LookML for both human and AI consumption.
- Partner with Data Analysts and business stakeholders to translate vague needs into clear technical specifications.
- Own technical work end-to-end, driving solutions from ambiguous problems to production-grade implementation.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related fields.
- Mandatory: Expert proficiency in SQL and production-grade Python.
- Mandatory: Practical knowledge of AI/LLMs and experience designing context for AI agents.
- Experience with semantic layers or BI modeling tools (LookML/Looker strongly preferred).
- Advanced English written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be based in Brazil.

- Experience working within a data mesh or similarly decentralized architecture.
