What you will do

• Provide real-time verbal interpretation and translate business documents (emails, reports, manuals) between Japanese and English
• Lead project tasks, monitor progress, and manage on-site schedules to ensure deadlines are met
• Serve as the primary point of contact for staff and support expatriate employees
• Manage day-to-day office operations
• Facilitate understanding between different business cultures to streamline operations and resolve conflicts

Requirements

• Business or native level proficiency in both Japanese and English (speaking, reading, writing)
• Previous experience in a coordinator, interpreter, or administrative role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity
• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan for on-site support
