Billing & Claims Specialist (Bilingual Spanish)

What you will do

• Process and facilitate data for NEMT and GMR ride claims.
• Perform reconciliation of billing data to encounter data and resolve operational issues.
• Collaborate with providers to resolve claims disputes in accordance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures based on industry best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and provide internal coaching and guidance on complex issues.
• Implement scalable billing operations systems and financial reporting for management and government agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in billing/claims management.
• Bilingual Spanish Speaking.
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, v-lookups).
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in San Antonio, Texas.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

Nice to have

• NEMT or transportation industry background.
• Knowledge of CMS and HHSC regulations.
