What you will do

  • Define and implement a scalable taxonomy and metadata models for operational documentation.
  • Design intuitive indexing and cataloging structures to optimize search behavior for engineers.
  • Manage the full documentation lifecycle, including audits for content integrity and gap analysis.
  • Establish templates and standards for operational playbooks, SOPs, and recovery guides.
  • Partner with platform owners to embed documentation standards into tools like ServiceNow and SharePoint.
  • Coach engineering teams on best practices for documenting dependencies and incident response procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Library/Information Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, service management, or knowledge architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing metadata models and catalog structures.
  • Proficiency with large-scale knowledge platforms such as ServiceNow, Confluence, or SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of Incident Management lifecycles and high-availability environments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
