What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and governance for the external API ecosystem.
• Set standards for API design, authentication, versioning, and deprecation lifecycles.
• Improve the external developer experience, including documentation, sandbox environments, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with Partnerships and Sales to land strategic integrations that drive business value.
• Define and track success metrics such as adoption, partner activation, and integration health.
• Manage the go-to-market strategy for API changes and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Track record of owning technical or platform products end-to-end.
• Technical depth to engage with engineering on system design, integration patterns, and security.
• Experience with API-specific concerns like versioning, rate limiting, and OAuth.
• Ability to translate complex technical needs into a coherent roadmap for commercial stakeholders.
• Fluency with data to prioritize initiatives and communicate impact.
