TL;DR

Customer Success Manager (Fintech): Managing a portfolio of 45+ clients to ensure product adoption, retention, and expansion with an accent on building long-term relationships and driving customer advocacy. Focus on proactive account health monitoring, identifying upsell opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer needs.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Plano, Texas (Hybrid: Mon, Tue, Thu in office)

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of 45+ clients post-implementation to drive full product adoption and long-term success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, proactively addressing issues and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Conduct business reviews and provide expert product consultation to enhance customer capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to action customer feedback and improve the overall experience.
  • Monitor account health metrics to prevent churn and drive net dollar retention.
  • Provide mentorship and onboarding support to new and existing team members.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer success or account management, preferably in fintech.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and fintech industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles; CPA or relevant accounting certification is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to build value-driven client presentations.
  • Must be able to work from the Plano office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP systems, Gainsight, Zendesk, Salesforce, or Jira.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Part-qualified or qualified experience within an accounting practice.
