What you will do

• Design, develop, train, and validate AI/ML products
• Lead AI project development across areas such as ML reinforcement learning and LLM agent harnesses
• Develop AI governance and evaluation metrics, including guardrails
• Advise executive leadership on technical and commercial feasibility
• Partner with commercial teams to understand AI impact in life sciences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deliver products

Requirements

• On-site customer engagement: work onsite up to 4–5 days per week in the Boston region
• Advanced degree in Biological, Data, or Computer Science
• 10+ years of AI/ML development experience, or 5+ years building AI/ML tools for commercial life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of AI/ML products
• Proven track record deploying AI models that solve real-world problems
• Strong experience in at least one area: ML reinforcement learning, fine tuning, automated retraining, or LLM agentic governance (guardrails and evaluations)

• Degree in AI or ML
• Deep understanding of hurdles in pharmaceutical drug development
• Ability to build productized applications used by more than one group
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience collaborating on large software projects
