What you will do

  • Develop customer-facing features including IC+ pricing, surcharging, and payment automation.
  • Apply enterprise architecture patterns to design and scale reliable payment systems.
  • Communicate proactively within a distributed team to share context and surface risks.
  • Partner with product teams to take features from concept to measurable outcomes.
  • Integrate AI tools into the daily development lifecycle to improve team productivity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with strong backend expertise.
  • Experience building and maintaining production-grade systems, ideally in SaaS.
  • Comfort working across the stack or a strong desire to grow into fullstack development.
  • Strong architecture instincts and a bias toward action.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and hands-on experience using it in software development.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Background in payments, financial systems, or adjacent industries like mortgage or property technology.
