What you will do
- Develop customer-facing features including IC+ pricing, surcharging, and payment automation.
- Apply enterprise architecture patterns to design and scale reliable payment systems.
- Communicate proactively within a distributed team to share context and surface risks.
- Partner with product teams to take features from concept to measurable outcomes.
- Integrate AI tools into the daily development lifecycle to improve team productivity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with strong backend expertise.
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade systems, ideally in SaaS.
- Comfort working across the stack or a strong desire to grow into fullstack development.
- Strong architecture instincts and a bias toward action.
- Enthusiasm for AI and hands-on experience using it in software development.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Background in payments, financial systems, or adjacent industries like mortgage or property technology.
