What you will do
- Conduct research and analysis of member country development co-operation practices against set criteria.
- Generate evidence-based analysis using creditor reporting system data and draft analytical reports.
- Prepare and participate in mid-term reviews and missions to headquarters and partner countries.
- Develop and promote guidance on effective development in areas such as fragility, governance, and gender.
- Liaise with DAC Delegates, reviewers, and member officials, engaging at senior levels.
- Synthesize lessons from peer reviews to create learning products and profiles.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in development, international relations, political science, public administration, law, or economics.
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in a national or international aid agency.
- Practical experience in assessing and reporting on development agency projects and institutional performance.
- Demonstrated skills in policy analysis and understanding of critical issues facing developing countries.
- Fluency in English or French and knowledge of the other official language.
- Strong intercultural ability to work in complex, multilateral settings.
