What you will do

• Proofread and edit materials for grammar, punctuation, and readability across donor communications, emails, and website copy.
• Ensure strict adherence to editorial standards, brand voice, and the organizational style guide.
• Verify the accuracy of names, dates, statistics, and scripture references.
• Serve as the final quality checkpoint for major communications initiatives.
• Review AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, and theological alignment.
• Maintain and update organizational style guides and editorial standards.

Requirements

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with hirify.global’s Statement of Faith.
• Strong commitment to the sanctity of human life and the ministry's mission.
• 3+ years of professional proofreading, copyediting, or communications experience.
• Exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Experience working with established style guides (AP Style preferred).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in ministry, Christian nonprofit, or publishing environments.
• Familiarity with SEO content standards.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated content.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and content management systems.
