What you will do

• Build and modernize stable backend systems for global electronic payment processing.
• Work within an Agile DevOps team managing the full lifecycle from analysis and design to implementation and support.

• Optimize and maintain database software, focusing on Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call duty to ensure maximum operational uptime and efficiency of applications.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Java 11+.
• Proven expertise in database software development, specifically Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Practical knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• University or College degree in Computer Science.
• Very good written and spoken English proficiency.
• Must be based in or able to work in Milan, Italy (Hybrid).
