What you will do
- Lead the development of Data Science within Product, creating statistical models that directly impact customer experience.
- Scale the impact of the Product Analytics team by creating automation and self-service model capabilities.
- Architect and implement sophisticated statistical models (predictive, classification, clustering) for personalization and recommendations.
- Explore and prototype new tooling and approaches, including Agentic AI and AI Agents.
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to identify high-impact data science opportunities.
- Design and analyze complex AB tests, causal inference models, and uplift modeling to inform product decisions.
Requirements
- Significant experience in data science or a quantitative role influencing product organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Deep experience with statistical modeling, multi-arm bandit, and various machine learning techniques.
- Proven ability to define and operationalize product and feature-level metrics from scratch.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
- Must be based in Poland
Nice to have
- Experience with applied AI, including NLP, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Agentic AI for analytics.
- Advanced programming background for building simulations and prototyping data products.
- Deep experience in predictive LTV modeling and sophisticated customer segmentation.
- Experience working in two-sided marketplaces, e-commerce, or the travel technology industry.
- Experience validating quantitative findings with qualitative methods like user research.
