What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of engineers through pairing and feedback to raise maturity across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Own end-to-end technical design and delivery of high-quality reinsurance capabilities.
• Partner with product and business experts to translate business goals into measurable technical outcomes.
• Continuously improve SDLC, tools, and CI/CD pipelines, incorporating experiments with agentic coding.
• Identify and manage technical risks and lead incident management practices, including root cause analysis.

Requirements

• 8+ years of application development experience with proven technical leadership on complex initiatives.
• Proficiency in .NET Core/C#, SQL/Cosmos DB, React, and TypeScript.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar subject, or comparable work experience.
• Comfort with asynchronous, event-driven architecture and its engineering tradeoffs.
• Location: Must be based in Hamilton, Bermuda.
• Ability to travel and occasionally work outside standard business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Event Sourcing.
• Experience with Service Bus and Snowflake.
• Proficiency with GitHub Copilot.
