What you will do

• Own and manage the global data stack consisting of Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, and Omni.
• Design, create, and maintain high-quality data marts through organized and tested dbt models.
• Utilize frontier AI models (Claude, GPT) and internal tools to accelerate development and shape AI adoption.
• Assemble complex data sets to meet specific business requirements across Risk, Commercial, Finance, and Engineering teams.
• Implement internal process improvements, including Github CI/CD and automation.
• Provide technical leadership through architectural ownership and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• Expert-level SQL skills and deep knowledge of data modeling (e.g., Kimball).
• Hands-on experience building SQL-based pipelines using dbt and Git.
• Proficiency with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake) and ELT tools (Fivetran).
• Experience developing within BI tools such as Looker, Omni, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Must be based in London to support the hybrid work model.
