What you will do

• Assess counterparty creditworthiness and KYC status through detailed financial statement analysis.
• Recommend and monitor credit limits and proactively manage risk exposures and breaches.
• Act as a professional business partner to the Front Office, communicating sound credit opinions and innovative risk solutions.
• Maintain relationships with counterparty credit departments to maximize liquidity and trading opportunities.
• Drive and manage credit risk projects autonomously, coordinating across different internal departments.
• Maintain credit and KYC data within the internal 'Credit Risk Cube' database.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a similar professional qualification.
• Long-term experience in a credit role within an energy company, bank, or rating agency.
• Deep understanding of Credit Risk Management and exposure assessment in a banking or commodity trading environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce coherent credit proposals under tight deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of KYC onboarding and assessment processes.
• Must be based in London, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with energy/commodity trading markets (natural gas, power, oil, or LNG).
• Knowledge of physical and financial energy products and their associated risks.
