What you will do

• Develop and maintain microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Design and support REST and GraphQL APIs with strong documentation, versioning, and security practices.
• Optimize relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch) databases, including schema design and indexing.
• Build scalable cloud-native applications using containers, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and design data ingestion and processing pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing production backend applications and services.
• Strong expertise in Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in designing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS/SNS.

Nice to have

• Experience designing large-scale microservice and distributed system architectures.
• Knowledge of Go, Node.js, or Java environments.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Pulumi, Helm, or ArgoCD.
• Advanced asynchronous programming and high-volume data processing skills.
