What you will do

• Define and maintain the long-term vision and roadmap for Identity and Access capabilities across the platform.
• Lead the transition from legacy identity systems to a unified platform foundation, including migration strategies.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and security teams on scalability, reliability, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Develop platform capabilities, interfaces, and self-service experiences for internal product and engineering teams.
• Align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Security, Design, and Commercial teams through influence.
• Collaborate with data, analytics, and AI teams to enable cross-product reporting and future platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience owning complex platform, infrastructure, or technical products.
• Experience defining strategy and roadmaps for multi-stakeholder domains with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to participate in technical discussions regarding APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience influencing architecture and security stakeholders without formal authority.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Proficiency in using AI-enabled tools to improve research, analysis, and product development workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with IAM concepts such as SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, or RBAC.
• Background in EdTech or education software environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and architecture patterns, ideally AWS.
• Knowledge of education data standards (OneRoster, Clever, ClassLink, etc.).
• Awareness of compliance and privacy requirements like GDPR, FERPA, or COPPA.
