QA Engineer I (Python)

Location: Hybrid (average 2 days/week in office) or Onsite (5 days/week)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI and API using Python-based frameworks.
• Perform staging smoke tests, production validations, and regression testing across the Mist Cloud platform.
• Analyze UI and API architecture to identify gaps and suggest improvements for stability and test coverage.
• Log, track, and manage defects and enhancements, collaborating closely with developers for resolution.
• Build, monitor, and maintain test environments to ensure reliable automation execution.
• Collaborate with Customer Success teams to investigate and reproduce customer-reported issues.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
• Degree (BE / ME / MS) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and solid programming fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and pytest frameworks.
• Experience testing Web applications and REST APIs.
• Willingness to work in an onsite or hybrid office model.

Nice to have

• Experience in UI and API troubleshooting.
• Experience writing detailed regression test cases.
• Familiarity with Django RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of networking technologies.
