TL;DR
Senior Data Engineer (Python): Building and evolving ’s corporate Data Platform (DPS) with an accent on data architecture, ELT pipelines, and self-service analytics. Focus on designing scalable Data Warehouses, implementing data governance, and optimizing analytical workloads to support company-wide decision-making.
Location: Remote (Must be based in Ukraine)

is a software development company building an internal data-driven platform to improve operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
What you will do
- Design, build, and evolve Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and enterprise data models.
- Implement and optimize scalable ELT pipelines and data processing solutions, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
- Establish and maintain data governance practices, metadata standards, and security controls.
- Ensure data quality, observability, and operational excellence across the data platform.
- Support and enhance self-service analytics capabilities through Apache Superset and other BI solutions.
- Mentor other Data Engineers, conduct technical reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering delivering complex data platform and analytics solutions.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, relational databases, and data modeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and access control models.
- Experience with analytical databases and performance optimization (e.g., ClickHouse).
- English: Intermediate (B1) or higher required
- Location: Must be based in Ukraine
Nice to have
- Experience with Apache Superset, Power BI, or other BI and visualization platforms.
- Experience with real-time or event-driven data processing solutions.
- Experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical lead.
