What you will do

• Lead and develop a multi-region AML team consisting of analysts and senior specialists.
• Oversee end-to-end KYC, CDD, and EDD processes to ensure adherence to jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
• Manage the transaction monitoring programme and refine TM rules to reduce false positives and manual workload.
• Hold overall accountability for the operational performance and configuration of the Sumsub platform.
• Serve as the primary operational point of escalation for complex AML cases, routing them to market MLROs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of AML operational experience in iGaming, fintech, payments, or banking.
• Proven experience managing multi-person and multi-region AML teams.
• Deep working knowledge of KYC, CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, PEP screening, and SAR processes.
• Experience managing AML technology platforms, with Sumsub experience being highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional AML obligations and regulatory frameworks.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Melbourne, Australia.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Sumsub workflow configuration, applicant management, and TM rule tuning.
• iGaming industry background and understanding of gambling-specific ML typologies.
• Experience supporting AML programmes across LATAM or European regulated markets.
• Fluency in Spanish for in-market coordination with Mexico teams.
