What you will do

• Design and develop new solutions for Mobile Backhaul.
• Perform hands-on testing and validation of network designs.
• Collaborate with customers and the EE Mobile team on mobile evolution.
• Utilize Ethernet, IP, IPVPN, and Internet protocols for network design.
• Execute network testing using traffic generators and analyzers.
• Document designs and test code variants for deployment across BT networks.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ipswich, UK
• Hands-on experience in the design and testing of IP protocols.
• Knowledge of routing and switching technologies, including IPVPN.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and network issue debugging.
• Experience with test generators and analyzers.
• Knowledge of software skills including Git, Python, and Jinja2.
• Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with YANG network models, gNMI, gRPC, and JSON.
• Cisco or Juniper certification.
• Experience with the full development lifecycle.
• Membership in a professional body like the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
