Senior Data Engineer (Databricks & LGPD)

What you will do

• Act as a technical advisor for the integration between Databricks and data privacy/governance tools.
• Configure connectivity, access permissions, metadata, and security requirements within Databricks.
• Guide and validate data discovery, classification, and scanning processes across the Data Lake.
• Design secure, scalable, and compliant data solutions in collaboration with engineering and business teams.
• Document data architectures, technical workflows, and processes.
• Contribute to Data Lake and Data Warehouse architecture best practices.

Requirements

• English: C1 or above (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, specifically Delta tables, security models, and metadata management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling and CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance frameworks such as LGPD and GDPR.

Nice to have

• Databricks certification.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Unity Catalog and Data Governance practices.
• Knowledge of Data Quality frameworks.
• Experience with Power BI.
