What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end statutory audit process across multiple entities as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and local GAAPs, including consolidation journals.
• Submit accurate and timely regulatory returns to local bodies, ensuring full compliance with reporting requirements and internal controls.
• Contribute to regulatory change projects and finance transformation initiatives to embed new requirements into BAU processes.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Product departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of reporting data.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve auditability across jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience within a regulated financial services business (Traditional Banking, EMI, or regulated crypto/fintech).
• Experience operating within FCA, CSSF, and/or DFSA regulatory frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS & FRS102; experience with other European GAAPs is highly desired.
• Proficiency with ERP or accounting software, preferably Oracle Fusion.
