What you will do

• Commission, produce, and edit vertical video content for hirify.global News playlists and social platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-platform teams including News, Sport, Sounds, and iPlayer.
• Ensure high-quality content delivery while meeting tight editorial deadlines.
• Coordinate content flow to maintain a consistent and engaging news output.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends, to support responsive news coverage.

Requirements

• Must be based in Salford, UK
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere.
• Proven journalism experience with strong editorial judgment.
• Strong writing ability and understanding of diverse audience segments.
• Ability to manage workloads and lead output quality across teams.
• Strong collaborative skills for working across multiple departments.
