Data Scientist Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in São Paulo, Brazil; applicants must be currently enrolled at a university in São Paulo and available to work from the local office at least one day per week.

What you will do

• Support Claim Fraud Detection implementations for new clients.
• Learn and assist with ETL configuration, detection implementation, and workflow automation.
• Help deploy new platform features to existing client environments.
• Contribute to improvements across client environments and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand client roadmaps, collect feedback, and review solution performance.

Requirements

• Education: currently in the final year of a university degree, with graduation projected around December 2027.
• Studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Academic or practical experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C#, C/C++, or Java, plus SQL.
• Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data solutions.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills are required.
• Willingness to work with stakeholders and learn the business aspects of insurance products.
