Senior Data Scientist (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Analyze and investigate interconnected detection logic based on signals and rule-based expressions.
• Map complex data flows, processing pipelines, and dependencies across enterprise systems.
• Identify redundancy and inefficiencies, then propose simplifications that preserve detection quality.
• Perform exploratory analysis on large datasets to validate hypotheses and support decisions.
• Assess downstream implications and operational risks before changes are implemented.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and security researchers while communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or related analytical roles.
• Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and data analysis.
• Experience with large-scale, complex datasets and the ability to structure ambiguous problems independently.
• Strong engineering mindset with the ability to understand complex logic, codebases, data flows, and downstream system impacts.
• Experience driving investigations from hypotheses to data-backed conclusions and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher is required. Familiarity with JavaScript is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake.
• Background in cybersecurity, fraud detection, or risk analytics.
• Experience with rule-based systems, detection pipelines, or enterprise-scale analytics platforms.
• Understanding of data pipeline architecture and signal processing systems.
