TL;DR
Backend Developer (Python): Developing and maintaining backend services for diverse client projects with an accent on API design, database performance, and automated testing. Focus on building scalable solutions using Python and C#, implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system reliability through comprehensive unit and integration testing.
Location: Must be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit. Hybrid work model requires 2 days per week in Porto.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Python as the primary language.
- Collaborate on projects involving C#, SQL, and Dapper ORM.
- Design and implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Utilize XL Deploy and XL Release for deployment and release management.
- Work within a hybrid team environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with C# and SQL/T-SQL.
- Strong expertise in automated testing (Pytest, NUnit, Selenium).
- Fluency in English (B2 level).
- Must be based in Portugal with valid work authorization (citizenship or permit).
- Availability for hybrid work in Porto (2 days/week).
