What you will do
- Own global and corridor pricing strategies (fee structures, FX spread, promotional mechanics, competitive positioning) aligned with growth and margin targets.
- Build and independently run sophisticated financial models to simulate revenue, margin, and take-rate impact across corridors, segments, and time horizons.
- Establish continuous take-rate monitoring with escalation and rapid response when performance deviates from plan; drive cohort-level analysis and LTV modelling.
- Design and lead pricing experimentation programs (hypotheses, test design, success metrics, kill criteria) and turn results into documented strategic recommendations.
- Act as senior pricing SME for CCO and leadership; embed pricing considerations into product infrastructure, billing/metering/fee configuration, and customer communication.
- Maintain live competitive pricing intelligence across key corridors/markets and translate it into strategic pricing responses and guardrails.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in pricing, monetisation strategy, or commercial finance, with a track record of delivering large-scale pricing strategies and measurable revenue/margin outcomes (fintech/payments/remittance/financial services strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to build and interrogate complex financial scenario models independently (hard requirement: without support from Finance or Data teams).
- Demonstrated high-autonomy stakeholder influence across a matrix organisation, including C-suite, using data-driven reasoning and well-constructed commercial arguments.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to embed pricing logic into product infrastructure (billing, metering, fee configuration).
- Hands-on experience with pricing experimentation (A/B testing, cohort analysis, funnel diagnostics) and running structured programs with analytical rigour.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable with SQL or equivalent and able to translate fragmented data into clear executive narratives.
