What you will do

• Perform geo-environmental desk studies for linear infrastructure projects (OHL, cables, and pipelines).
• Conduct site reconnaissance, geomorphological mapping, and asset assessments.
• Supervise ground investigations, including logging and sampling according to BS5930/EC7 standards.
• Manage small to medium-sized projects under the direction of Senior or Principal Geologists.
• Prepare ground models, produce analytical sections, and define engineering parameters.
• Analyze geotechnical data and produce technical mapping.

Requirements

• Relevant Geosciences degree (Earth Sciences, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Proficiency in soil/rock logging, sampling, and site supervision.
• Good working knowledge of ArcGIS.
• Proficiency with geotechnical software such as GeoFine, Slope/w, or Pebble Geo.
• Ability to work independently with practical problem-solving skills.
