M&A Intern (Fintech)

TL;DR

M&A Intern (Fintech): Supporting the M&A team in the end-to-end execution of strategic transactions with an accent on financial modeling, valuation, and project management. Focus on conducting competitive analysis, preparing investment committee materials, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive value creation.

What you will do

• Assess existing portfolio assets and identify opportunities for value creation.
• Create high-quality project deliverables, including acquisition rationale and decision-making support tools.
• Participate in the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence and process management.
• Assist in financial analysis and valuation of prospective acquisition targets.
• Identify emerging market trends and evaluate potential future acquisitions.
• Conduct competitive analyses to provide strategic insights for top management.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bac+4/5 degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
• Fluent in both French and English (speaking, analysis, and writing).
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and business valuation.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AI tools.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple workflows.
• Must be available for a 6-month internship starting September 2026 in Paris.

Nice to have

• Specialization in Corporate Finance or M&A.
• Prior experience in investment banking, transaction services, audit, or private equity.
• Proficiency in additional languages such as German or Spanish.
