What you will do
- Draft and prepare contracts, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis to produce actionable memos.
- Manage litigation calendars, filing deadlines, and discovery timelines.
- Review commercial agreements and flag legal risks for attorney review.
- Support regulatory filings and compliance documentation including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
- Maintain organized, secure, and audit-ready legal files using Clio, Relativity, or iManage.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate.
- 3+ years of professional paralegal experience.
- Strong experience with legal research platforms and document management systems.
- Hands-on experience with litigation and corporate document drafting.
- Deep understanding of litigation processes and strict deadline management.
Nice to have
- Trial preparation experience.
- Exposure to entity formation, board resolutions, and governance documentation.
- Experience with compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
- Advanced e-discovery and document review experience.
