Salary: $28.90 - $31.63 CAD hourly

What you will do
- Assist with preparation of correspondence, documents, and reports, including ethics submissions to BREB.
- Maintain and file study forms and documents (e.g., consent forms and master subject logs).
- Support screening and recruiting study participants, including participants with trauma exposure.
- Assist with data collection and cleaning, including pupilometry and psychophysiological/behavioral data; manage multi-modal databases and multi-site data sharing.
- Score memories using a standardized protocol (Autobiographical Interview) and handle specialized equipment (wearables during data collection).
- Apply formulas and calculations using basic statistical programs; review, verify, and correct database information per guidelines.
Requirements
- High school graduation plus some additional training in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Ability to work in-person on the campus; some occasional remote work is possible.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with human study participants and the research team.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, including respecting diverse perspectives.
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of research design and analysis; fundamental statistical knowledge.
- Familiarity with statistical programs and computer languages, including R, Python, Java and/or Linux.
- Experience with wearable technologies, eye-tracking, and/or BioPac systems.
- Experience administering and scoring the Autobiographical Interview.
- Experience recruiting and testing participants, including clinical populations.
