Service Technician (Agricultural Machinery)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair customer machines in the shop or at customer job sites.
• Remove, install, repair, disassemble, and assemble assigned equipment components.
• Perform failure analyses across engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic/computer applications.
• Conduct machinery inspections, setup, and adjustments.
• Use SIS to order parts, troubleshoot machine systems, and research problems.
• Enter labor data and complete service and warranty reports using a laptop and service manuals/parts books.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• 2+ years of experience in an agriculture or diesel service technician role (preferred).
• Diesel technology degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot using required methods and tools; ability to read and interpret parts and machine schematics.
• Must provide personal tools for the position.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory; valid driver’s license with a verifiably safe driving history; may require overnight travel and weekend/evening work.
