What you will do

• Design and scale pipelines for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) by transforming unstructured logs into optimized vector embeddings.
• Manage the performance and health of vector databases like Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate to ensure sub-second retrieval speeds.
• Build knowledge graphs and semantic layers to provide agents with necessary context for complex infrastructure tasks.
• Implement automated data guardrails to detect noise, bias, and PII before data reaches AI models.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure to ensure data freshness and reliability.
• Bridge the gap between raw data sources and AI engineering by resolving quality issues at the source.

Requirements

• Must be located in Spain and fluent in Spanish
• Expertise in data mining, data storage, and ETL processes.
• Proven experience in data pipeline development using tools like Glue, Databricks, Synapse, or Dataproc.
• Proficiency with both relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, DB2, and MongoDB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud modernization and data modeling.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, or Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Familiarity with social coding environments like GitHub and IDEs like Visual Studio.
