Forward Deployed Engineer (Applied AI)

What you will do

• Work within customer systems to build production applications using the Studio and Lens platform while meeting customer requirements.
• Deliver technical artifacts for production workflows, including MCP servers, sub-agents, and workflows.
• Provide white-glove deployment support for Infinitus products in enterprise environments.
• Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and feed insights back to Product and Engineering.
• Stay current on LLM capabilities and implementation patterns, and define agentic best practices for customer AI adoption.
• Build long-term customer relationships and proactively identify new opportunities for AI deployment across engagement lifecycles.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Forward Deployed Engineer) or software engineering with consulting experience; technical founders are encouraged to apply.
• Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
• Strong programming skills, especially Python (and ideally one or more of: TypeScript, Java) with experience shipping production applications.
• High agency to navigate ambiguity in complex organizations.
• Strong communication skills for customer discovery and conveying technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare/life sciences or another enterprise vertical.
• Experience with AI deployment patterns.
• Experience working as an FDE or in a professional services context.
